An off-the-cuff spontaneous improvisation by Don Van Vliet recorded in Gary Lucas’ apartment in the West Village of Manhattan the night after Don’s second appearance on the David Letterman Show in July 1982.
Subjects deal with Reagan’s then Secretary of the Interior James Watt… the shoddy/shady mysteries of the water works of NYC… alopecia ariata and Don’s resemblance to a “de-jeweled Korla Pondit”…
